Would a cat box/cage be ok for transport?

We're picking up our 2 lovely buns next Sunday (hurrah!)

We've got 3 cats and wondered if their travel boxes/cages woould be ok to transport them in? They are the standard platsic ones with a wire screen door at the front - do we just wipe them down, or is an extreme clean needed? :roll:

I give them a full clean out,the bunnies might be scared if they can smell cats
Have you built your hutch /run now?

I use my cat carrier to transport my rabbits, I just give it a good clean after each use. For my cat I put newspaper in the bottom and for the buns I put vet bed in.

Oh and those bunnies....... THEY'RE CUTE!!

that would be perfect cover the bottom in newspaper and some hay!

Not quite - taken a little longer than we thought :roll: hampered by the -6ºC temperatures on Sunday! It's quite a palace though! (Pics as soon as I can get a new battery for the camera)

Yeah i use my cat carrier and do the same as the others i put news paper in the bottom and hay,as well as a snuggle cup
