Hi folks!
We posted a few topics but haven't officially introduced ourselves!
We're a family in North Wales currently in the process of committing to rehoming a bonded pair from a rescue centre - we're off to look at buns at our local centre - North Clwyd Animal Rescue (NCAR) in Trelogan, Near Holywell http://www.ncar.org.uk/ - this weekend and then we'll be building our own hutch and run - based on The Snug design (see previous fourum posts). Our daughter (6) put the idea to us about keeping rabbits - having researched it and realised how many bunnies needed a home we could hardly refuse, especially as we have a very large garden (inc veg plot - handy for carrots!) (we have 3 rescue cats already which we've had since 1989! - old but still cute!). I hope our daughter sticks with the bunnies, but if not we're still committed to them - we're told rabbits live up to 10 years old, so we can grow old together!
Anyway that's us - we'll be posting pics of our buns and the new hutch next week.
