help... rabbit dandruff???

ive just checked on my rabbits this morning and one of them has really sort of thick dandruff in a small patch on his back, not too far from his neck. its flakey, white and not as thin as our dandruff... any ideas? i didnt notice it yesterday but his a black rabbit and it was quite a grey patch so i had a look and that was what i found

please help? what should i do? i have mite powder if its that...
 
hi i had something similar on my rabbit and decided to try the small animal sopt on which has cleared it. however it's normally recomended to see a vet first :oops: :wink:
 
sounds like your bun has mites . i would check with a vet before treating though.
personaly i think injections work best but some vets do advise other treatment .
