Hi, im not sure if im putting this thread in the right subject but im sure someone will be able to help me... !

I'm trying to find the best pet insurance for my bunny, everyone has said to me a few different ones but PetPlan seems to be the one coming up in conversation all the time !

Can anyone give me some ideas of the best ones ? i dont really want to pay the earth and i know some companies can charge it !

Thank you

Sara and Smokey :p

Hiya. PP is the only insurance company that offers LIFETIME cover. Although it is the most expensive premium wise (last time I checked it was about £12 a month for a bun). All the others require you to re-apply every year and they tend to put a ceiling on claims for 'chronic problems'. PP will cough up (apart from your excess) however much the treatment costs and for however long it goes on. HOWEVER, dental treatment is EXCLUDED from cover as are vaccinations and neutering. Hope this helps. Insurance is a good idea if you only have one bun....treatment can be VERY EXPENSIVE!! Jane and Bunsxx

My bunny costs about £7 a month through Petplan. Like JCO said, it is well worth it is you only have one bun. I have had far more back from them in payouts than I have paid in premiums.

I have just taken out petplan too at £7 a month, I also put a little away each monthe in case of any teeth problems. It just gives me peace of mind.
