Holly is eating the newspaper!!

I line both of my rabit cages with newspaper and then put hay in their bedding area and a vet bed for them to snuggle on. They also have a hay rack each and plenty cardboard tubes, wooden chews etc to play with.

However Holly does insist on chewing and eating the newspaper!! I remember a thread on this before but can't find it. Will eating paper do her any harm? She has plenty of Excel pellets and the odd bit of veg each day. Oh and she gets to have an hour or two out of the cage at least twice a day.

Just wondered if any of you knowledgeable lot could give any advice on this

I'm pretty sure that it can't. My Bandit has done it for years and it's never done her any harm.

My bunny's eat their newspaper too - the especially love the paper where the water bottle has dripped on! :roll:
