Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

Bunny first aid kit

Amethyst

Warren Veteran
Hi all,

I've been thinking recently, it's obviously vital to get a rabbit treatment as soon as it's looking under the weather, and also to keep it well looked after when recovering. I currently have a first aid kit for us humans, but have nothing for if the bunnies should fall ill. Can anyone please recommend contents for a good first aid kit, and tell me where I can get said products from?

Many thanks!
