My 9 month only male rabbit Alfie has escaped from his run, he should be a magiction as he does a runner every time he has given half a chance his been the same since before we got him from the garden centre.
In the past his escaped and not gone that far and been caught by neigbors, tonight his not in his run and I can not find him anywhere. It does not help that just 100 yards from my house theres loads of fields. Last time he did this he came back after 2 hours. I think thats because he is bonded with another rabit Emily who he lives with. I am hopeing his going to come back and i am checking the garden every 5 - 10 minutes to see if theres any sign of him.
He has been with Emily since she was just 8 weeks old, she totally adores him and follows him everywhere. I have locked her in her hutch for tonight now so that she is safe but I know that shes very frightened without Alfie. Have I done the right thing doing this or should I let her access the run as normal? Or should I take her in the house as she stayed in the house on her own for till she was about 12 weeks old.
