Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Question about tear ducts (?????)

Okay. Can't say too much but basically my manager had a black lop brought to her shop. Apparently the bunnies owner couldn't care for it anymore.

I haven't checked its sex, but i am guessing its male by the shape of its head.

But any how, its not in bad shape (what i can see) and is quite friendly. My manager can not sell him in her shop because it has one fault. His eyes seem clear but has a terrible staining and a little mating under its eyes. The bunny has only just come back to my work, so we have left him a few days before we clean his face up a bit.

I would really like him to go to a nice home. So i want to work out what the bunny has wrong with it. My manager already has too many rabbits, so she can't really keep it.

My question is could it be tear duct problems, and what are the other options it could be?

Hmm, could be teeth problems as that will affect the eyes. Blocked tear ducts are common to.
Has bun been in a bad draught as well as this can affect them - poor wee thing :( Hope that you can sort out bun and that it is found a nice home.
