Jack is 7 years old and he developed this lump on his stifle about 3 months ago. He has had a biopsy taken which indicates that it is NOT malignant. Because removing the lump would be complex (it involves not only soft tissue but also all the nerves and ligaments) and the lump causes Jack no pain we have decided to leave it alone. After an initial rapid growth it has remained stable for the last three weeks so hopefully will not get bigger. If it does we will have to review things as Jack would not be able to use that joint very well. I really don't want to have to put him through an op', so fingers crossed........ Jane and Buns xx
