i was wondering if anyone can recommend a brush to me? Gabriel is a lionhead but up until recently hasnt really had much of a mane. he has started maulting now and his mane seems to have gotten a little longer so obviously i will need to groom him more often! so far i have just been using a pet comb to put through his fur.

was also wondering if you can reccommend some treats/toys for him? he hasnt been out very much these past 2 weeks due to many reasons :( and i am feeling incredibly guilty about it so want to make it up to him with some presents :D what are your bunnys favourite toys??

I'd go from a comb rather than brush. Flea combs work well or the ones Ancol have donated for the Christmas appeal look good :)

i use one of those wire brushes for my lionhead rabbits gets otu all the dead fur so i think there great :D

yep the cat comb is the one i shall be useing to when pheebees a bit better

as for tos the treat ball filled with that days food is really good or willow balls boxes yellow pages willow rings are all very good toys

I use a cat grooming comb - has alternate long and short teeth - plus I have a flea comb too which is good for when they are moulting heavily.

thankyou for the replies! i shall look out for a flea comb then.

anymore toy ideas? ive seen a lovely dog bed/settee type thing in argos that im going to get him :D hes always going under our bed so now i can give him his own! :D

If you have a Wilkinsons or Poundland shop they do a few toys that are cheap such as balls for cats, parrot wood/rope type toys that u can hang up, tissue boxes full of hay or toilet rolls of hay, a small cuddly toy, willow or hay balls are great and tents/tunnels/boxes are great for them to hide in

I've got a comb with rotating teeth to get the knots out, tried it on my hair as the rabbits are bald at the moment and it worked quite well! :D  and a small fine toothed comb for finishing!

I have one with rotating teeth too. I bought it off ebay and I have to say I was quite dissapointed with it. Milo absolutely hates being brushed with it and it doesn't seem to do an awful lot except when it gets stuck then it pulls all his hair out. My mum tried it on her dog too and it didn't do anything. I think the teeth are too far apart.

works wonders on my hair I keep going to bed with wet hair and waking up in the morning with a bush on my head!  I got it from Wyevale garden centre it was only about £3.50 so worth a try  :D
