Does anyone have any helpful information for me please
Poppy my 8 year old female bunny has lost the use of her left back leg in addition to this her tummy is swollen each side, my vet says it could be liver or kidney problems put her on Baytril and Panacur then a week later he said he thinks it may be a tumor, an x-ray would not show it up as it is probably in her uterus. The prognosis is not good and to prepare myself for losing her. I was to take Poppy back this Monday but over the weekend she was bright, not in pain, eating and drinking ok, I decided not to put her through the stress of going in the car being pulled about by the vet again and cancelled the appointment, the vet says there is nothing more he can do for her, she is still eating ok and on her medicatioon.
Has anybody elsw had this and what did you do, and what happened to your bunny
thank you
June
