You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Rabbit fleas.. question for rescues...

The four buns we got in yesterday have fleas and they are definitely rabbit fleas as they are congregating in their ears, little blighters! They have been in isolation since they came in so the other buns are safe.

What do other rescues use to get rid of rabbit fleas?

Auntie Lynda :D we get done twice a year with Advantage or xenex ultra    and this keeps the little blighters away :D

Thanks Scoot, we have advantage in the first aid box but I can't remember the dosage :? All buns are under 2kg, any idea?
