Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Baby wipes

Is there any reason why I shouldn't use baby wipes on a bun's mucky paws or mucky botty? Sometimes, Florence, Bailey and wee Robbie get a little mucky and sometimes it would be easier to use something like a wipe to clean them up than rabbit shampoo and water cos they get so wet. Does anyone know if baby wipes would be OK, I would presume they are as babies are quite delicate. I'd be grateful for any comments. :D

I think they are fine Lizzie i have certainly used them on the buns bums and bits and i use them for the dogs all the time XX

baby wipes are FAB! I use them on the kids, bunny, bunny home ;), spills on the carpet, and on my desk tops...worth their weight in gold!!! Also if you ever spill gloss paint on a wood floor a few baby wipes right away will shift it ;)

Do you have a Lidl down your way Lizzie? They do terrific ones...really moist for only 99p. They have sensitive ones as well. I also used to use Asda Baby cream for Toby. He knew just to wait until I got his little bum done after he had been out
