Leave enough space somewhere for a litter tray.
If you're going to build a double decker hutch make sure the ramp isn't too steep.
Look into ways to attach the doors. One of my hutches has hinged doors with locks on but my other hutch you just twist these bits of wood that are attached to the hutch by nails and then you can lift the door clean off. Those doors are better I think because my rabbits have an attached run and they might chew on the door or the door might close in the wind if it had hinges on.
