Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

my rex's poo is a bit squidgy, but i think she may have ate too much yesterday. her appetite is fine and she seems fine in herself, but its concerning me a bit. could the fact she overate yesterday cause her poo to be a bit squidgy? HELP!

If she over ate on dried food then that is probably the cause, you will need to give her just hay for a couple of days and then only give her a messured amount of dried food per day XX

Hiya alixtirian

Could you give us some indication of your normal diet for your little Rex as this will help us to give you some further help if needed :?:

I had this recently with harvey and poted pics of the poo here!!

I was advised to reduce his mix which worked. now he has a strict measure of his mix and then as much greens and hay as he can eat. Now his poos are fine.... i just thought an empty bowl meant it needed filling up!!

thanx guys, but she's fine now. was a bit worried about her because of what happened to my other rabbit, couldnt handle handle another loss! x
