Hi,

I'm Hannah and I breed and show Dwarf Lop rabbits with the BRC, specialising in the colour Blue in self and butterfly. However, I also believe strongly in animal welfare and have been active in some areas of this. Just thought I'd choin to have a few more chats with more rabbity people and carry on learning about rabbits and their welfare.

Hi Yes, that is one I've bred myself, she's called Lucky- no good for show or breeding because of her markings (eek, butterflies are so hard to perfect, the perfectly marked on in that litter died- ce la vie). She has a story actually, the stud is named after her mother, my first breeding doe and a very special rabbit. Her and the litter fell subject to Mucoid Enteritis, I lost lots of the kittens, Lucky's brother from my first litter (a previous one) and Clover, the mum. I wanted to pay tribute to Clover in some way so I named my stud after her! I am getting back on my feet now though, and Lucky is off with her sister to Barcelona to be a pet to an American lady and her family who didn't want to buy from the local people (who leave a little to be desired).
