Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

my rabbit kinda has a ball of fluff under her face when i was brushing her earlier i felt two had lumps under her face and she is loosing fur there.does any1 no wot this is?

it could just be her scent glands or small abscesses . There is also the possiblity that it could be something going on with her teeth as if the teeth overgrow then they can grow back into the jaw causing these lumps . I would advise to get her checked over by a vet just to be on the safe side and that way you mind is put at rest . One of my rabbits had lumps and it was tiny abscesses starting , they soon cleared up with a course of antibiotics tho , if its her teeth then a dental should put things right . but then again it may be nothing ... I would still get her checked out , especially as she still seems bright in herself .

Is she a very fluffy bunny then? If so are you certain they're not just matts of fur?
