The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. lion heads

Awww is that the little bunny in the new forest area? :D I have a lionhead with a very short coat and she doesn't need grooming at all even her mane doesn't get matted!!! :D But then other Lionheads can be very fluffy and would probably require much more grooming!

Hi!
When my lionhead cross is moulting I groom him twice a day for about 10-20 minutes.
When he's not moulting I groom him for about 5 minutes a day, although he doesn't always need it: two or three times a week would probably be enough. He's grown to enjoy being groomed though, he always lays on the floor when I get his comb, and licks my hand (or the carpet!) while I'm grooming him.

He is more fluffy than some lionheads I've seen, but I've seen ones less fluffy than him too, so you might find you need to do more (or less) grooming than that.

I'd say that he doesn't require as much grooming as an angora, but that his coat is still quite high maintenance, especially when he's moulting.

Congratulations on getting a new bunny! :D

I keep and eye on both my lionhead crosses but they dont seem to get tangly - I brush Kami regularly but Polly doesnt like it so I dont bother too much but they all get brushed when they are moulting :)

I brush both of mine a couple of times a week. Lolly seems to moult more than Sooty. I you can pull loose hair out or they are getting knots then brush them more often. A slicka is good,
