Urgent home needed - 3 baby bunnies

sgprescue

Mama Doe
I have just had a call from a lady needing to rehome 3 baby rabbits. They are now 12 weeks old and still in with the mother and she doesnt have any spare hutches to seperate them. I have no room for bunnies at the moment. Can anyone help? She doesnt know what sex they are and they sound like medium cross breeds. They are in Norwich but I may be able to help with transport on Saturday

God, if they're not seperated VERY soon any little boys will be making mum pregnant again!
We'll obviously take but would need help with transport.

Why did she let her rabbit have babies? Is the situation now safe eg dad neutered or not there? x

She was very vague about it all and I did explain to her that any baby males need to come out asap. I might possibly be going to Warwick on Saturday to pick up some guinea pigs, is there any way you could meet me somewhere along the way? If not maybe someone could help with transport.

cheryl what route and time will you be going to Warwick? Just spotted this info and thought I may be able to meet you with Sweep, the Silver gp. Good luck with homing these babies Jill

Blimey Cheryl - Warwick is miles from you and us!
What route would you take?
Its only 155 miles  thats not far for me
I am waiting to hear back from Jane again before I say if I am definatly coming or not. She called me this morning for some advice as there are some guinea pigs in her area that need help. I would be going A11, A14, M6.

Jill - If I do go to warwick on Saturday I should be able to come to Leicester to pick up sweep anyway. Alan from RSPCA rabbits in Heacham wants me to go and pay them a visit so I could come to leicester after warwick and then go there afterwards

Shall we wait to hear if you are going then start an appeal for transport help?
If it's any help to you we can probably take a couple of your bunnies too -if you could use the space. Seems silly not to make full use of the journey.

hi
not sure if these have all got new homes but i will shortly be looking for a companion for my little girl kirby (she was found on a kerb).
She is too young to be with another rabbit yet as she is only about six weeks old , the reason i have her from such a young age is she was found on the side of a road we think a foxhad got her as one of her legs was in a bad way as it needed to be amputated and she still has bite marks on her ears.
Not sure the size of these but am not looking for a giant breed as don't want her to get bullied have a spare cage to start socialising through bars for a few weeks till her strength is up and she is old enough for injections and spaying etc

Well I am definatly going to Warwich and Telford on Saturday. Donna & Kathy, could either of you meet me along the route to pick up the baby bunnies?

Cheryl

Telford isn't too far from Kathy.
Saturday is out for me now anyway as I'm at a fundraiser. Unless anyone else offers to pick them up for us?

Tree has very kindly offered to transport the bunnies to Kathy tomorow. I already have the bunnies here as the lady brought them round within 1/2 an hour of me calling her  . There are 2 boys and a girl.
