so why dont you set one up.!!!! quite a few of use have rabbits but no gpigs! i think the forum would become to complicated if it was about both!!

but there is often topics on here about g/pigs if someone needs help, as other members do have both so can give advise!

If you go to RR there is a GP forum link on there XX

There is a link to the guinea pig rehome site but I don't think it has a forum.
(although i might be wrong.... that wouldn't be unusual! )

I think Tamsin has enough trouble keeping on top of us lot without coping with moderating a GP forum too. Perhaps if you ask nicely (pretty, pretty please with a cherry on top ;) ) she could add a seperate GP section on this one.

Or here are some I found through google:

http://www.pimms-pages.co.uk/forums/

http://www.guineapigs.info/forums.htm

http://pub44.bravenet.com/forum/show.php?usernum=3757141565&cpv=1">

http://groups.msn.com/GuineaPigsUnlimited

There were loads more listed when I did a search on GP forums. Obviously I can't vouch for them as I am not a member and some are US based so their advice may be different.

All I can offer is that you hang around and read a few until you find one that you think you would like to be a member of.

Hit the nail on the head there ;) Whilst I've no objection to the occational topic about guineapigs, doubling the size of the forum by officially being about gpigs too isn't really practical. One of the reasons I think RR/the forum works is because it specialised in bunnies rather than trying to cover everything.

I'm sure there are some good guinea pig forums out there, trying the links Caz has found would be a good start.

I don't even like guinea pigs :?

There is a guinea pig forum on my website if anyone wants to visit one. Only recently revamped it so a bit short on members at the moment.

sgprescue - why mad?? Some people don't like dogs. I had to go to hospital when I was very young because I received a bad bite from one of the things for no reason. They are nasty scratchy little things; I could have lost my darn finger.

I have two piggies but I think the Forum is lovely as it is - its always nice to know that if you have a specific piggie problem on here there are a number of lovely RU members/Rescues with piggie experience that can lend a hand but I agree with some of the posts here that it would make the Forum really complicated to cover both bunnies and piggie critters as a general thing

I second every word of that! (Even down to the "I have 2 piggies.." bit!!!) :D

Everyone likes different animals (well we have some in common too). We're happy to hear about them even if the forum is focused on bunnies. Please remeber to respect each others choices of animals - just because you don't like them doesn't mean everyone else doesn't. How would you feel if someone dissed your bunnies

I have put I dont really care, as I think you and Adele have enough on your plates without a GP forum too. Personally if I have ever had a GP question, I have posted it up, and had some really good replies from such as Tracy and Cheryl who both run GP rescues, so I dont think there is a need for a forum too.

There are alot of people with GPigs on the forum, and I think if any of us have a question about a piggie - everyone with a pig reads it and replies - if you dont have a pig, then you dont have to read that topic.

Its ok sgprescue I am not mad at you, I am mad at the gp that bit my finger  I still have the scar, I needed stitches
