New Kit
hi guys,

my bunny is very active and when he gets bored he tends to eat (like most of us i'm sure)

I try my best to keep him occupied with various toys but he has got bored of most of those so i was wondering if anybody had any suggestions for homemade toys i can try?!?!? or any other ones for that matter!

Thanks!

Hiya Mollylop - Worcester Lass

My lot seem hot and cold on toys - they seem to quite like anything that jingles like the jingle balls you can get but some of the best things that they tend to like all the time rather than being faddy are as follows:-

1. Cardboard Boxes - some of the bits of cardboard you get say in packages that can be made into tunnels or Tent Shapes which they love to run in and out of.
2. Single thin pieces of Cardboard which you can stand up against things to make Hidy Holes - they love to run into this and then flip the cardboard up in the air  - some bunny mums do ave em :!: :!:
3. Willow Toys - I have the various size willow balls for them but they don't seem too interested in these but we have a Willow Tent and Dens which they love to hide in and eat.

In lovely Worcestershire your bound to have access to some fab Apple Trees - my bunnies just love these - If I'm getting from anywhere I'm unsure of I do wash them thoroughly in boiling water to make sure they are very clean, and I take a good bit of the green off too so there not eating too much greenery to cause upset tums etc.

Hope you have fun on the Toy Hunt.

hey I live in Bromsgrove also!hehe!

I'm gonna try him on a couple of cardboard boxes then, think he likes anything that meakes a noise......

I often put a bit of their dry food in a small mineral water bottle...they have fun throwing it about until they get the food out....so keeps them occupied for a little while.

Mine also love the jingle balls, kitchen roll tubes and cardboard boxes....Roo also likes his pringles tube to throw and roll around.......

mine have treat balls that they have to batter around to get the treats out they also like plastic flower pots and old toilet rolls as well
