Depends what for?? Rabbits must always have access to hay, it is an essential part of their diet and there should always be some in their hutch or cage. I use finely chopped straw in their beds (Russell bedding) as straw itself is quite sharp and I would be concerned that it could poke them in their eyes. I use a product called megazorb in their litter trays (a paper based litter which is very absorbant) but others on here use various things including shredded paper or vetbed is popular for housebuns.

I use hay because they love it and just can't get enough of it!!! and as Towsbuns said Straw is quite sharp thats why i don't use it in case it gets in their eyes or something

Howdie - thats not a daft question - it I had a £1 for every silly question I've asked on here - I could probably retire right now

I think Straw can sometimes be a bit sharp - mine all have litter trays with megazorb and sweet smelling Hay, Hay, Hay.
