I know I have asked before but can anyone find room in their hearts and homes for Dominic the lovely Californian boy at the SSPCA in ANgus.

When I was up to day it was like he had just given up and was looking very depressed. :(

I feel so very sad for him and if I could I would take him home myself but I don't have any more room and we are moving house soon as well.

He would be a lovely bunny for someone - surely someone out there can help - please.

His picture is on the RR site.

Oh I will be so happy if the sad little chap finds a home. I've been looking longingly at him too but he's just too far away (plus I don't think I'm allowed a 5th). It's awful when animals start to lose the will to live though, I just want to give them a nice home and some nose rubs.

I am afraid that when I contacted the shelter late this afternoon to say that Angela might be coming down to see Dominic I was told that he was homed earlier today  .

While I am very happy for Dominic I am sad for Angela as she has such a kind generous heart - hopefully another special bun will come along for her to love.

I believe he is going to a hope where he will be an outdoor bun.The people have another male and it is their hope that once neutered the two will be bonded. Hope the other bunny is big enough so that Dominic won't squash it

This is typical of life - no-one was interested in him for months and months and now two people want him

Thanks to everyone for all the help and support they have given Dominic.

Awww Im quite gutted Dom was gone but I have hopefully made another bunny quite happy. http://www.rabbitrehome.org.uk/moreinfo.asp?RabID=1951 this little guy! There was the most gorgeous black and white lop that I really, really wanted but his 7 days for claiming weren't up yet  I was quite surprised at the centre, so very very different to the Aberdeen one which won't let you have rabbits unless you have a garden and they are going to be kept outside :? Anyway i won't get started on that.
I hope Mr Biz (his name will be changed that just doesn't suit him  ) settles in well, he has done so far and he's onlt been in his bed for about 10 mins now.

 He doesn't need to come out of his bed. When I finally toddled off to bed and put the light off Biz came to life! I ended up getting up at 3am and putting a blanket under his bed as every time he bounced around in his bed the base bounced off the floor, it was a bit noisey. He's quite a vocal boy and even just eating hay he made noises  and then I was woken this morning by a chorus of honking at Harley, poor guy is a tad confused by what your supposed to what to hump! As he seems settled I will let him out for a run around this afternoon and get to see what he's really like.

Hi Angela! That's excellent news. We saw Mr Biz when we were at the SSPCA Centre last weekend. He is gorgeous but was a bit too "busy" for us novices - he jumped out of the SSPCA guys arms and hopped around the room!!! I think you will have lots of fun with him!

Dominic was also lovely - I'm so pleased he has found a new home too.

& Donna too - just worked out who everyone is ! I was just looking at the photos and only saw Nibbles left ?? Who is the wee black one ? And if there are 3 wild buns left does that mean John, Paul, Ringo and George have started to find homes ??

I think they fill up quicker than they rehome! Well when I went in they had all 4 babies, shimmy the mummy with her 4 kits, a young lionhead who had nasty wounds on his back who was found along with a balck and white lop dumped in a box in one of the parks, a black and white dutch cross lionhead who was on anti biotics for something or another and he didn't look happy at all neither did the other Lionhead boy. Its probably all change now and I've missed something  they had loads of piggie wiggies there as well. Oh and a young pigeon of all things! Loads and loads of cages full of hammies and gerbils  shame poor things!

Hi all! Ahhh - one of the wee wild babies must have been hiding when we were there as I only remember there being three but they were all snuggled up in the corner of their pen - one big ball of fluff!

The young lionhead sounds like the wee lad we saw who pulled at my heartstrings (although he was introduced as a Dutch and us novices didn't know the difference. I did think he was fluffy round his ruff though! I'll learn.... :? ).

Hopefully the bunnies there just now will all find new homes soon.

Byeeeee
