This is a pic of Cosmos and Violet's current set-up.

Zeus and Athena still have their rug under the stairs although I have removed the shelf made from storage cubes.

I have a large ferplast cage for indoor use but i only have one small rabbit and he has a free run of my flat when im home. It is plenty big enough for him. I have been looking at possibly getting a dog cage for when i get him a friend to give them more space.

Where did you get this cage/pen/maybe the answer to our prayers....from ?

Sorry to disappoint you Mark but it was made from storage cubes purchased on eBay and jacks-lot (the seller) hasn't had any in for ages!

I made it L-shaped so it didn't take up too much room in the spare room.

Sometimes I have been told DIY/hardware shops get these in also called Neat Ideas Cubes! They are sold to make box type shelving/storage with but why would you want to do that :p ?!

I also dont have the space for the open plan massive cages that most people have on here, but Buddy is free range and only uses his cage as a base for his food and litter tray. Infact now hes getting older he spends more time in there than anywhere else!!

This is a ferplast 100. you can get a 120 and 140 too but this one suited me and Buddy.

Would this be good to use as an indoor cage for my bunny??

Putting lino down underneath is a good idea or correx like bluebunny used on her GP cages to protect your floor.

P.S. Love the quip honeybunny

Hi,

I have just adopted two rabbits and recently posted a similar question. After looking at the pictures people kindly provided and having hunted around the pet shops I decide to go with a large dog cage in the end and I am very happy with this choice.

I'll try and post a pic when I get home so you can have a look. That said if you are in the states then you might want to try the bunny condo form leith petworks. This was the best cage I came across but unfortunately I couldn't buy it due to shipping cost to UK.

Hmmm. My cage was made by my dad (out of wood, chicken wire, and tile flooring(pretty big, but i don't have pics). The connected dog crate looked like a good idea, wish i would have thought of that before.

BTW: Should i put his cage on the floor so he can run in and out easier? I wasn't sure if i should but everyone else seems to have o.o'

Hi,

Anyone have ideas as to where the best place to buy these cubes/crates are??

I want Skip to have more room as i work 4 days a week and he gets fed up stuck in his ferplast cage....i have seen a bigger cage but would prefer a DIY crate/cube thingy like you lot!!

If i bought 2 dog crates can they be fixed togther easily?

I have got four packs of storage cube pannels here, which I have never used. I would just want the 30 pounds back that I paid for them.

I am in South Norwood, near Croydon, if anyone wants to pick them up.
