does anyone know why you can buy large rabbit garden runs?, over 6 foot, the standard large ones in the shops are 6 foot but i want bigger

If you buy direct from the makers then most will build custom sized hutches/runs to your spec. You might also want to look at dog runs which come in larger sizes. Try the yellow pages. You could also commision one from a carpenter/joiner which again you should be able to get details for in the yellow pages. Another option is to buy two and take the mesh out from between then just cable tie the sizes together so they can't push it apart.

here is a pic of the bunnies pen - it just about fits in the kitchen (its not there no more - they were only in there beacuse the buns had just been to the vets to get neutered!!!))

What about an aviary - you could buy aviary panels and put them together yorself to make a bigger run or buy a custom made one.
