How many house buns?

Hiya the boss isn't about so here I come to ask another stupid question.

How many house rabbits have you had living in your house at any one time?

I ask this becuase if I am going to take on another four buns, I don't know how long I will be able to leave them in hutches before guilt gets the better of me and I want to bring them into the house.

So far I have two house buns Beatrix and Marly, they are happy and don't cause any trouble (except for last night when they both got stuck under the bath and we had dismantle the entire bath to get them out, but that's another story). They have a bed to sleep in, but they have both taken to sleeping under mine. I was wondering if anyone ever had six house buns and whether they are a lot more trouble then two?

I don't know if I will cope with six sleeping under my bed and trying to play with me while getting ready for work

I'm no expert on house buns but people have multiples of pets inside like cats and dogs, I would have thought they can't be any worse! :wink:

It's only sixteen... ;) and they are definantly more hassle the more you have... (BUT WE do ave neddies everywhere as they are always under our feet)

The majority are free range - it's only the severely disabled - like Scoot - who are in a cage but they still get out and have exercise and fun.

i cant imagine having 24 in the house!!!!
 
Ours have a room of their own, with a 4 story condo at one end to increase the space they have, they also have access to the rest of the house but only one or two use the stairs. We have the advantage that they all run together...

Jay's house doesn't seem crowded, there are just rabbits in every room, including one bathroom, last time we were there one bathroom didn't have any rabbits in it, but the bath was full of apples and greens... Not forgetting the shed in the backyard full of rabbits... :)
 
Oh my god that's unbeliveable - Brendan threatened me with divorce when I was talking him round to four - with 24 he'd bump me off to save on legal costs! :lol:

I only have two under the stairs and two in the spare room (oh and guinea pigs in the dining room, 5 toads in the dining room and a 7ft fish tank in the lounge - the rest are in the garage).

Ooo, what sort of toads do you have? We have them in the pond outside. They are very cool :D
 
I have fire-bellied toads I think there might actually be 6! I did have a pair of normal frogs too, they were hopping round my garden "hugging" as there is no pond I popped them in a spare fish tank and two days later had spawn. I let mum and dad go and when the spawn hatched I put the tadpoles in my parent's pond. The fire-bellies are a breeding project.

Over Christmas the plant in their aquarium/terranium got too big and pushed the lid up. I didn't realise one of them had go out until I found Zeus attacking his water bowl and Athena growling and attacking the bowl too - thinking they had pooed in it or something I went to change the water and got the fright of my life to see one of the toads swimming around in it!

It had hopped off the 4' cabinet where their tank is, out the dining room, across the kitchen and into the hall - luckily he found the nearest water source (the rabbit's water bowl) or he would have been Mr Crispy by the morning! Not so lucky for the rabbits though the toads are actually mildly poisonous - thank goodness the rabbits had the good sense not to drink!

Bertie and Andi are another couple who have a bunny warren living in their house 8) :lol: not initially sure how many they have got because I have lost count :lol: :lol:

I think their rabbits live in the house and Bertie and Andi just rent the one room off them :wink:

That's about right!

We have 6 in the rabbitorium (previous owners mistakenly called it the dining room :roll: ), and one giant in the living room.
