If so it may help to talk with a trained Bereavement Counsellor. The RWAF have recommend contacting Companion Animal Loss Listening Line (C.A.L.L ). This is copied from the RWAF website

A lovely service that I should of used but felt like I didn't want to trouble anymore people. I spent a whole year being completely bonkers with worry about rabbiting
