My hands are always in soapy water at work and I'm OCD about handwashing anyway, so what isn't cracking and flaky is flat out bleeding, gaping cuts. :(
 
He is as cute as always, Jane. He is a tiny fellow., though a smart enough one to come back to you. Have you located a suitable home for him, or is he still in his temporary lodgings?

Still in his temporary cage I am afraid. He seems happy enough though and at least he's safe :)
