Hi Guys,

I might be boarding a rabbit who has been vaccinated and apparently she has had a severe reaction to her vaccinations, possibly vaccine caused nodule myxomatosis. What does this mean? Does this put any of my other rabbits and rescue rabbits (all vaccinated) at any risk? Thanks!

Poor bunny, hope it clears up. Sorry I've no advice, as no experience, but I'm sure others will xxx

Personally I would not accept the Rabbit as a Boarder.

In very rare cases a Rabbit can have a reaction to the vaccine which causes nodular myxomatosis, see 'Adverse Reactions' on this link :

And is that nodular myxomatosis infectious like normal myxomatosis?
