I am in floods of tears for you. You are the life and soul here and who could have imagined how much you have suffered. I am so sorry about your Mum and your lovely friend Jett who was gorgeous. aaww Nicola, I feel sorry for your mom and dad because they dont know what they are missing. You are a wonderful person and Jett would be very proud of you. I have always been a believer in things happen for a reason, although I wish you had'nt lost your best friend Jett, you might not have got out of this terrible situation. Sometimes people stay in situations because there is someone keeping us there. Losing Jett made you decide to get out as soon as possible because there was nothing left to stay for. I am sure Jett is by your side protecting you as you walk through lifes path.

I'll raise my glass to Jett for giving us a Nicola who is a kind, caring, loving and very funny person. Jett would be very proud of you Nicola as we all are :D

I think that people who have really rotten things happen to them in life are the people who end up being the nicest people in the long run as i makes them more sympathetic to others who are suffering.

Funtime Frankie used to get a bit fed up with the way I dote on Meg (my dog) but it once I explained it is because she loves me totally and is always there for me, never answers back, never criticises, never lets me down or goes off in a huff etc etc he began to mellow and now loves her loads.

Any time I feel down Meggy-mog (her nickname) comes and sits on my knee and cuddles in - no mean feat for a fully grown old english sheepdog.

You shuldn't feel worried about someone telling you they love you - Mubby does it is just that he can't speak but I bet if he could he would tell you.

I have made a point of always telling my girls Colette and Gabby that i love them. Last week when we were in Safeway Gabby and FF were at the other end of the aisle from me, I ws looking at the yoghurts when I heard this huge shout go up "I can still see you Mummy, you are my bestest mummy and I love you." - evrybody looked at me and I felt great (if a bit embarassed) I had to shout that I loved her too.

You are a really lovely person and we all think you are great.

gabby is on a mission to have the whole world singing and dancing. at the moment the trip up to nursery is like a Christmas karaoke - we start with rudolph the red nose reindeer then we get, santa got stuck up the chimney, frosty the snowman, jingle bells, and son on in a continual loop

she really is hilarious - I was told not to be "dickless" - she meant ridiculous and apparently chewing your food is important for your "inventive system".

She is only four but I swear she's been here before.
