Rabbit savvy vet needed East London/Essex area

William Lewis? I'd heard he'd retired too :( but would love to hear that wasn't the case!

I've never used them personally but Lawson & Stoakes in Romford have an exotics specialist if that's within easy travelling distance.

Yes D: can't believe it :(

It is, but I heard its terrible....? Have you heard good things about it? :)

You could try Wickford, South Beech surgery? I used to go there years ago, so I have no idea what it's like now.

I've seen them recommended in local fb groups but not by anybody that I 'know'. I don't have much need for an exotics vet these days so I haven't looked into them in any great detail though.

Reviews are hard to judge from sometimes too - someone might rave about them but might not have enough basic knowledge to be able to tell whether they've been given bad advice. Or conversely, some of the bad reviews can be a bit economical with the real truth.

He's retired, I didn't know that .. He's very young? (well 50's yes?)
Idk Tbh [emoji38] probably about 50.. He's still managing the place apparently, just not seeing patients D: I really wanted him to have another look at Gus :(

Feel like I need to find another exotics expert, incase anything mad happens :( may look for one in London, but then for emergencies that's not ideal.. You really wanna be able to quickly drive somewhere :(

Other option is we quit our jobs, sell our house, and move to Andover [emoji38][emoji38][emoji38][emoji38]

Yes that's very true!

I should find out the names of their vets and do some research :) just no one I've spoke to suggests them, they all say William [emoji38]

You could try sending bunniemum a PM. She used to live in East London before moving. May not have been anywhere near you, but thought I would suggest anyway :)

How very dare he retire, so inconvenient. [emoji23][emoji23] It might be a case of 'trying them out' before you have an emergency. Good luck with your search!

Haha exactly! Just not right is it! [emoji38][emoji38]

Yea maybe I'll go for a check up.. And maybe a second opinion for Gus... And see what I think... [emoji38]

Thanks :)

If I were you I would establish who your current vets have recruited to take William's place. Then I would do some research on that person.
