Hi everyone,
I found this web site while trying to find information and advice on pregnancy and birth. I am so very glad I found this site! Many of you have helped me tremendously! Thank you!!!!
I live in Florida, USA with my husband and teenage daughter.
I am new to owning a bunny. We acquired our first bunny just about a year ago after I went to a local pet store to buy some CAT food. I walked out with a bag of cat food and a adorable white bunny with the bluest eyes. We naturally named him Sapphire!
Yet another trip to the pet store to get CAT and RABBIT food I came home with Mystik. Mystik's a dark grey, long haired beauty!
Determined to get JUST food this time I went to the pet store and came home with food AND Oreoelle. Oreoelle is our baby and is expecting babies herself! Her name fits her, she is white and black.She was all alone in the pet store so I just HAD to bring her home.
Still I didn't stop...lol I went to a pet store and saw Maple Sugar. Maple Sugar was horribly abused by its past owners. They didn't want him anymore so they just dropped him off at the store and left. My heart just broke for this "big" bunny! Maple Sugar is white with maple colored spots. So of course, he is now part of our family now too.
Oreoelle and Maple Sugar are expecting and I am so very nervous over this! A person would think I am expecting!lol I am sure I will be posting again asking for more advice!

I live in Holiday which is part of the Tampa Bay area. Just a few miles north of clearwater beach

Thank you all for the warm welcome Oreoelle gave birth to 4 beautiful babies and all are doing excellent!

Holiday....what a lovely name...wonderful to say " I live in Holiday"

I have been to Tampa area...to Busch Gardens...quite a few times. I particularly like it because half of it is animals. And of course the weather is lovely. I always go either April or October as I don't like to be too hot and I have been over Christmas and New Year which was wonderful.

Your babies look as though they are doing great!

Holiday is a wonderful town...very quiet. Its funny you mentioned that the name sounds lovely. I had a friend fly in from New Zealand and the officers at immigration wasnt going to allow him into the US because they said that there is no such a place as Holiday. That nobody in their right mind would name a town Holiday :lol:
I agree...Bush Gardens can be alot of fun! Love the animals!!!!!! My friend from England describes Florida weather as....hot, very hot and OMG am I in H@ll!!!??? :lol:
