Cats are so good at rude. It's in their DNA, I'm certain.
I've never had a cat who demanded attention by going into a room full of guests by sitting in the middle of the floor and washing itself be unsuccessful! :lol:

Sherlock often comes in, even with strangers, flops onto his side, rolls onto his back and spreads his legs :lol: we often call him a tart. he just rolls around on the floor as you pet him, or I think does it to get some attention! K started petting him and he stopped in that position for quite some time!
