Escaped aviary birds from years ago, adapted well to life in the wild.Same thing happened with collared doves years ago .The wood pigeon in that photo seems to look like..."bloody foreigners"

I thought that  He doesn't look too happy with the visitors

Whenever there's a weather outside broadcast on BBC Breakfast in any London park there's always some in the background squawking away :) I remember a nature programme on urban wildlife saying they must be doing alright because big green feathers were commonly being found in peregrine nests!

Ah, I get those too, they are parakeets :D

Mind you I thought there were more than you said, as I thought all the pegs on your line were parakeets too until I zoomed in

[emoji38][emoji38][emoji38]

They're so loud! And the other birds look at them strangely [emoji38][emoji38]

:O how do you even know that?! [emoji38][emoji38][emoji38]

Yes they are.. And some brabantia ones that came with the line I think... And some other assorted pegs [emoji38]

Someone gave me some Minky pegs as a pressie, and I thought they were lovely. The colours are superb.
But they keep breaking and pinging off my line :(

Ah no!

My mum is super accident prone.. Like mad stuff happens to her [emoji38] she was hanging something out and one of the pegs broke and hit her on the eyeball... I can't even tell you how she managed it, it's so unbelievable [emoji38]

Other than that, not had too many break but normally we bring them in, in the autumn, til spring, because we don't dry anything outside then, this year that hasn't happened though [emoji38]

Oh my! I have to say I feel a bit like your Mum with the 'it couldn't possibly happen' stuff ...
You really couldn't make it up!

I keep my Minkies indoors, so they shouldn't be complaining about the cold.
There's no pleasing some pegs, is there?

Did you see how I deftly derailed your thread. And you being a Mod and all .....
