i've never met a chinchilla & know nothing about them but he looks adorable
I thought I would share Marty this evening distracting me from worrying about Dennis.
He is also referred to as: Marty Moo, Diggery Do, Kamoo-doo-doo.
He is over five years old now and is a full time dream boat

Marty is super clever although not litter trained at all! They love sand baths - they get really excited about them. His poops are like big hamster poops. They do "surfing" where they run up and bounce off the walls which is the equivalent of a binky. He's quite similar to rabbits which is why I think he fits right in. His fur is the second softest in the world (i think?). Very loving animal too. Marty eats forage such as dried plaintan, nettle, willow etc the same as rabbits only a few differences in what forage they can't have. Got to have the air conditioning on for him as they really struggle with heat. He lives in the bunny room with the bunnies. They live up to twenty yearsI'm curious. How is Marty with people, what does he eat?, what does chinchilla care involve? whats his poop like? Can they be litter trained?
