That was a bit like the position I found myself last week whilst staying at my parents. My 'old' bedroom seemed to now be home to some unwanted 4 legged small furry whiskered squeeking little varmits that were chewing stuff at 2:30am so I ended up trying to sleep on a small hard narrow sofa in a small living room with a fire on. I didn't feel exactly subtle when I woke up after a few hours kip! But lovely photo of your cat.
