Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

Two Rabbits, One Carrier?

I'm just wondering if anyone has ever taken bonded buns to the vet in the same character? My trio are all getting their RHD2 vac tomorrow but I only have two carriers. They're cat carriers so I'm sure Ham & Bea would comfortably fit in the same one. Does anyone advise against this/should I invest in another one today? Any advice appreciated :)

Mine always go in the same carrier! I can't carry two. I have a Catit Cabrio (large cat carrier) for 2.5kg buns. It's really heavy but still easier than wrangling two carriers into/out of the car on a busy road at the vets :)

Thank you, this is reassuring to me! Beatrice is a small Nethie as well, so I'm quite confident they'll both fit in comfortably.

I have the same carrier and usually have two 3+kg rabbits in it. I take the view that they snuggle very closely at home, so they will be OK doing it in the carrier.

Hope their vaccinations go well.

Thank you Omi, this has given me the confidence to go ahead with it. They are spacious carriers, so should be okay hopefully :D

Yes, I wouldn't worry at all. I sometimes have 3 in 1 because I have a trio. It does make it really heavy, but still more manageable than not doing so. They're always snuggled up anyway and don't seem to mind x
