Think its just a repeat rather than a new series with another load of baby rabbits given freedom temporarily then sold in pets shops afterwards. I got excited when I saw it but then I realised what it was - Id find it heartbreaking to watch knowing what happened to the rabbits afterwards.

It was first shown in 2013 I think and they did try using wildies but it didn't work so they found a breeder who bred wildies x domestic so they put some of these rabbits in a man-made warren so they could monitor them, with a view to learning about them. There were 50 babies born in this warren and when the survey came to the end, some of the rabbits went back to the breeder to be sold at pet shops and some stayed on in the warren. This is all I know. Nothing much was learned from it. They also did the same sort of thing with Badgers, Voles and Moles. They said the rabbits will all find good homes!
