I have a group of four rabbits who live in a shed with a run (24/7 which they have 24/7 access to). There is lino on the floor. They have three 32 litre underbed storage boxes filled with newspaper and hay as litter trays and a magazine rack as a hay rack.

Hello

Is the cage just a safe base for your Rabbit, ie he is never shut into it ?

Some advice about suitable housing for Rabbits :

From the above link you will be able to navigate around the Rabbit Welfare Association's site where you will find a lot of information and advice, including that about the importance of vaccinating and neutering and of the best ways to ensure that your Rabbit has all he/she requires to meet his/her physical and psychological needs :)

As for an alternative to sawdust, which is not really an appropriate substrate for Rabbits, there is Fitch Bedding

Hi there and welcome to the Forum to you and your big bun

Fitch may be a better choice:
