Jack and his holiday to the Lakes

Liz47

Wise Old Thumper
We've recently got back from a weeks stay in the Lake District in a dog friendly cottage. I did post a while back about taking dogs on holiday as we was concerned Jack wouldn't settle and with him being 11 about the walking, we did some walks but not too long and he loved racing round! No one ever guesses his age when he's out and about. He also loved the majority of shops, cafes and pubs being dog friendly and settled very nicely in the cottage  I would like to share some pics.

And not to leave out Jake and Jasmine, who with the piggies, was looked after by my mum who enjoyed a weeks 'holiday' in my home away from her normal duties at home!

He looks like he had a fine time. We love the lakes and there is a lot of pet friendly accommodation. We have had a couple of holidays taking a single bunny (Bramble) with us as it is only 90 minutes away. Sadly we did not take her out for walks [emoji23] but we figured we might as well have her with us than with someone else. We took a hutch/run combo plus rubber backed large rug with us that was a pain to transport and assemble but it's definitely an option. Have pets will travel as long as they are Ok with it[emoji106]

Beautiful photos, Jack really looks like he's enjoying himself, bless him. Gorgeous buns too, how lovely of your mum to pet sit, bet she spoilt them :)
