Is there any wood glue that is bunny safe?

Morning

My bunnies have acquired a wooden Christmas tree, painted in bunny friendly cuprinol paint with chew toys attached. The only problem is that its made out of pieces on tongue & groove wood and in a couple of places this has broken off so the tree currently is missing its pointed top - they may not care but I do !

Does anyone know of any glue that is bunny friendly, it wouldn't need a lot just a couple of dabs to secure the pieces in place? I don't want to use staples or pins as these are more likely to fall out/eaten/swallowed if any major chewing occurs

thanks for any suggestions

I use child safe glue as this is designed to be somewhat safe if ingested. As you said, just a couple dabs to hold it.

Thanks DP, I found a child friendly / non toxic PVA glue in Hobbycraft, so the tree could be happily repaired

Not spotted it yet !

Trying to upload the video when they did eventually spot the tree, its not like it was too small :)

Good thinking, Rosemary. I'll be honest, I didn't think of the glue in terms of being safe for bunnies when I was glueing something a couple of weeks ago. You've opened my eyes.
