Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

When I started indroducing veggies to Blueberry's diet I started off with:
a small chunk of carrot, in the evening for 3 days,
then a small chunk of broccoli again for 3 days,
then the same again with part of a cabbage leaf.
Then when she was fine with those I added the next new food with a bit of something she was already ok with, and have carried on increasing how much she has along with new foods like that. -does that make sence??
I give the new food for 2-3 days to make sure she's ok with it.
she's up to about a cupful a day now and still trying new veg -carrot tops then swede this week. :D

I think it was when I started adding the parsley and the caulie, will see how he is today and then build up slower - he loves his new pellets though and will eat those before his other stuff.

It did make sense thanks, I was rushing too much as he had settled in really well! bless.

Cheers
