bit disappointing..

so my mum decided to buy one of those monthly boxes for bunnies, to see if it had anything in it that luna would enjoy and hopefully for a cheaper price than buying it all in a store.

being a bit broke, she went for a cheaper one. it cost £13 including shipping.

there were 4 items inside, totaling around £10 for them all.

dunno, I guess I expected maybe a bit more :?

Yes, what a shame. I would be disappointed too.

What company did you use?

I use Barks and Bunnies for the boxes
10% of their profits go to charity, and every box I've received has had items of more value than I paid. They've also got a very personal touch and remember all my pets individually

it was barksandbunnies actually. that's what drew me & my mom in is the charity part!

I'll give it another go as another is set to come in 8 weeks time.

its hard as Luna is the pickiest little butthead of all time :roll: the rose petals she has refused, even thought she almost killed my rose eating it! probably will offer the bits she doesnt like to my hamsters, they even try to eat cardboard.

guess the upside is she liked chewing the box it came in!

Yeah, I've seen these kind of things online, a shame it didn't live up to expectations x

I'd suggest messaging them - they have a FB page you can contact them through.
They're lovely and would appreciate the feedback. I'm sure they'd rather know so if it's something they can improve upon they will.

I'm sorry you were dissapointed with the box you recevied for Luna. If you don't mind me explaining a little about what it is we do it might help?

All our pet boxes are different to what would be considered a ‘traditional subscription box. None of our product descriptions make any claims that boxes will be packed with items that are worth significantly more than the RRP, but there is good reason for this.

Our Love Them Happy pet subscription boxes were created with the main purpose of raising money for charity. We make donations with every box purchased whether it’s a one off or repeating subscription.

We offer a highly specialised and fully tailored service to our customers where not only each box is different every time you receive one but each individual customers box will be different too. Should there be any items your pet doesn’t enjoy you are free to contact us and they won’t be included again (such as the Rose Petals for Luna) and when ordering we can also take into account whether pets have any special needs, dietary or medical. No other pet subscription boxes offer this complete package and we also include a handwritten note included that is addressed to your pets in every box received.

However it is worth noting that we do make sure the value of the items you receive are always worth more at RRP than the cost of the box purchased, and that is with all the customised options and personal additions mentioned above. We put product photos on the website so you can get an idea of the sort of things that you are likely to receive which makes the entire process as transparent as possible for all customers.
