This is from a 2015 thread asking for Rabbit Savvy Vets in Nottingham, not sure if it is of any help:

Castle Vet Centre, 61-61 Castle Boulevard, Lenton NG7 1FD
Davison Vet Surgeons, 63-65 Ilkeston Road, Radford NG7 3GR
Meadowbank Veterinary Surgery, Hillbank House, Commonside, Selston NG16 6FJ
Orchard Vet Centre Ltd, 105 Perry Road Sherwood NG5 3AD
Vets4pets Worksop, 47-49 Carlton Road S80 1PD
Wildbore Vet Group, Turner Road Worksop S81 7AE

Like I said, that was 'accurate' from the RWAF in August but we all know they're subject to change at any time and not inform the RWAF at all!

Vets4Pets Gamston are supposed to be very good. One of my bunny friends goes there and always seems to be very happy with them. Hope everything is ok x

Castle Vets in Lenton have a rabbit specialist, not sure if they're open today. There's a place called 'The Vet- Nottingham' that are very good with rabbits, very cheap and open on saturdays and sundays :)

Steph at Vets4Pets in sutton in Ashfield is good and RWAF silver standard.
ARK vets at Killamarch have been recomended to me.

Thanks everyone, we had quite a day at various vets yesterday, and I found out that the vets I usually use are actually on FHB's link to supposedly rabbit savvy vets! Long story short though, those recommendations are great for me to look into changing our vets, thanks x

Glad we've been able to help :) The FHB list is just a list of owners recommendations rather than specific rabbit savvyness...all is means is that someone thought they were good and recommended them (note there is also a name of recommended vet not just the practice itself). It's a helpful start but I can think of some vets who seem to get recommended but who I would drive away from if I was sat outside their practice with a dying animal! The RWAF list on the other hand is much slimmer in size but is based on a questionnaire of their rabbit procedures and a follow up conversation with Richard Saunders. So it's likely to be more robust in terms of how actually savvy they are than an owners recommendation. All the best to you.

Do you mind me asking who it was just so I can avoid them?

Mine seem great with rabbits, and the owner keeps rabbits herself but I've only been in for basic things (health check, neutering, vaccinations) so I'm not sure how specialist they would be with complicated issues, they're not the typical money grabbing vets though so I'm sure if they didn't know they'd just refer. The guy at Castle Vets says he's a rabbit specialist but I haven't used them

And it's alright if you get him but his wife isn't as experienced :) Any proper issues, he'll see you though: she did vaccs and a nailclip for me that I wasn't hugely happy with :thumb: But she was alright for a simple post-stasis checkup when everything had sorted itself.
