Moving house and a new bun

Hi all, moving to the country in ten days. This means a larger area for Alfie and a buddy bun. I have applied to the Olinda rescue to adopt a bun, problem is so many are so beautiful it's going to be a hard choice. I'm sure we will want to take them all home. My problem is male or female and I am also considering a VIB (very important bun)

What do you think about his buddy being male of female?
