Pixie and Dixie updates

Some or none of you may remember that Dixie (white/tan) had head tilt at the beginning of December, so I thought I should put up some piccy updates.

I do get them in from the cold at least once a week, for general grooming and the sheer pleasure of their company.

I need a smaller basket

Lovely photos!

Dixie is doing incredibly well :D

That last photo is a hoot :lol:

Thanks, she does have days when she obviously isn't 100%. I am more convinced she got a head and neck i jury, but they both got panacur for 5 weeks just in case. I find it interesting that the original diagnosis was E. Cuniculi, that is spread by eating urine contamited food. Where does everyone say they keep their hay? In the litter tray.
I would love to have the cat and rabbits together but I don't trust them, they sniff through bars and that will have to do.

It's really difficult to positively diagnose EC without a series of blood tests, and even then it's not always conclusive. I've had my vet diagnose it and then a specialist come up with a completely different diagnosis :)

I think Panacur is a good cover all if unsure though. Most of the time, at normal dosage, it's well tolerated.

You're right, rabbits eat their hay and like to poo and wee at the same time. Can't be avoided - but Panacur should help with that :)

Great news and gorgeous bunnies :love: The spores could be in the air so difficult to avoid but a good thought.

You can probably guess looking at the pics which one is daft as a brush and which one all serene. Can't wait for spring, they miss their spaghetti. Grass to you and me, but shout spaghetti and they dash down the run to their castle and assume cute begging postures.
The run was on the grass but I adapted it to attach to their hutch and therefore is now on concrete. So, come spring, new run attached to old run by a tunnel? Yeah, why not, its only a day or so to build and very cheap
