Does anyone know how long it generally takes to come round fully from sedation? Hiro was quite bright this morning before we took him in but he's a little quiet now. He is picking at food and toileting ok though.

Sedation

I had a rabbit sedated last week, not a full GA. A couple of hours later he had come round and was eating. It probably depends on how much sedation the vet has administered and also the physical health/constitution of the rabbit?
Glad to hear he is picking at his food etc

He seems ok and he is picking etc but he just doesn't seem as good as he was this morning. I guess he's had a log, stressful day though They sedated him to keep him still for his CT so I guess it could be quite a lot?

Yes, could well have been quite a dose as they took their time and did a really thorough job, didn't they? x

He definitely seems more with it. He's not eating a great deal though so I'm going to ring up and get some more Metacam. He's actually sat in his tunnel grooming Sylar. Lovely boy.
