Pics of my last baby lizard of 2016

My last egg has hatched and there won't be anymore anole lizard eggs until at least March so I'm saying goodbye to my last little guy who just hatched. I must've hatched out 2 dozen or more lizards in the last few months so it's going to be weird not doing the daily check of my incubating eggs! I shall miss it.

They eat little insects, or anything small enough to get in their mouths - so anything from flies to small slugs or worms, grubs etc. Of course the babies have to eat very small prey so I imagine in my backyard the babies are eating a lot of gnats and fruit flies.

Lizards will watch me doing things, like if I'm digging in soil or using the hose - things that attract prey or cause them to come up from the ground - they'll stand close by and observe and then run over and grab an insect that I hadn't even noticed! They're very good at sensing motion and they're clever to utilize me like that. I want to start hand feeding some of them mealworms like I've heard of people doing. I hadn't thought of that before this summer but that would be neat to get an even closer bond to them. They're already tame but that way they'd be very eager to see me! Here's a video of someone doing just that with a green anole and a brown anole. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FoNV--wR90s
