Oh my gosh, Marty

I love chinchillas. One day I will have the space to rescue a pair but for now I'm insanely jealous ;)

I wanted a chinchilla since forever and I can only say he is everything you could dream of and more. They're very similar to buns so quite easy to keep in terms of health and diet. By that I mean us rabbit savvy people lol. They are a lot smarter then you could ever imagine. If anyone always thought about one I would definitely consider rescuing a chin. They live up to 20 years too so many years of fun together

You certainly give your animals a very good life. I like the tank idea for the hamster, better than a cage?

The problem with the hamster is..... I spent so much time and money on fancy cages such as rotastack and she escapes from every cage she has. She chews holes in everything. She lived under the floor boards for a whole week and we got her again by making a bait bucket that she fell into to get some peanuts. So then I bought her a glass Viv tank and she was wearing her teeth down to stumps trying to chew. So we designed this which it's a bendy plastic so she can never get her teeth round it. We call it alcatraz prison. Good luck escaping from that one! Oh it its quiet handy because we have a lock on it to keep the animals meds in the bottom draw. But you could use the third shelf for another level if you would prefer
