Rabbits United Charter
General Aims
We aim to provide a United Forum which is open and neutral to all individuals & institutions including Rabbit Rescues, Charities, Organisations, the RWA, the BRC, the RSPCA and Pet Shops, with the common purpose of:
 Seeking information on which to make informed choices
 Working together on common ground to discuss the future of Rabbit Society
 Being open to new ideas
 Removing some of the current Barriers that prevent dialogue and communication between differing rabbit philosophies
 To use our shared love and respect for rabbits and for our fellow Humankind, to only good, constructive and positive ends.
Forum Members Charter
We request that Forum Members:
 Be prepared to listen and work with Members from every different rabbit care philosophy.
 Display mutual respect at all times to each Forum Member irrespective of their personal beliefs.
 Are prepared to listen to one another’s views and open debate with a willingness to look at things from a general common ground as far as possible, and not make postings into any form of personal attack.
We request that members do not:
 Insult or make personal attacks on any Administrator, Diplomat, Sub-Diplomat, Individual or Organisation.
 Publicly question/challenge a Diplomat’s official decision, any issues should be taken up privately.
 Swear and/or use abusive language.
 Incite debate with the sole intention of promoting their own Organisation or personal Beliefs.
The forum is managed by a group of members called Diplomats whose job it is to ensure that things run smoothly and the Forum Charter is followed.
If a Member is concerned about a posting they should contact a Diplomat immediately and privately with the concern, and we will make a decision as to whether action needs to be taken.
The Diplomats reserve the right to remove/edit a posting if they feel it is offensive or biased.
Members not using the Forum in the appropriate way will be given one warning and may also be asked to make an apology. Further violations of the charter may result in restrictions from posting in certain areas and ultimately the member being asked to leave.
Members may be offered or can request the opportunity to access a private area of the Forum for Mediation with the Diplomats. The Diplomats will endeavour to try to work with you to resolve any issues, and the Diplomats joint decision will be final in every circumstance.
Other Notes
The forum is non commercial, if you want to contact a member about your product or services (including the sale of livestock) please do it by Personal Message not on the forum. Please do not contact a Member unsolicited, especially if they have not asked for recommendations.
Members are held responsible for their own postings and any repercussions that occur if you should damage an individual, Organisation, Business, Service or Supplier of Goods. The Owners of Rabbits United Forum, nor any of its Associates will be in any way held liable for the content of any postings.
Members are responsible for any decisions that they make based upon advice given within Forum Postings , and cannot proportion blame to the instigator of the Posting if that advice does not prove to be correct or ideal.
We advise against displaying your Personal email address, home address of home phone number, in a signature line. For your own protection these will be removed and edited out by a Forum Moderator.
Final Word
We sincerely hope that you will enjoy Rabbits United Forum, and please do not hesitate to contact us, the Diplomats (Adele & Tamsin), if you have any suggestions, need advice, or have a concern. Please help us make the most of this opportunity and make it a successful venture for all, and especially for the rabbits.
